Have you ever seen an anonymous AskMe where the anonymous poster ended up posting to the thread with their real username?

I recall one once where the anonymous poster was all like "this is the original poster blah blah blah". Can't remember who or what, but.

If someone posted an anonymous question and everyone was all like "you're a twat" they'd probably want to stay anonymous. But if the responses are positive they want to join in the discussion fun.

nomis: That might have been the one where the anonymous poster created a sock puppet account to reply to questions. The wording sounds familiar, but I don't remember the question either.

Yes. The one I remember best is the anon poster trying to clarify her point more, it was a relationship / health issue about her and her boyfriend (maybe it was about epilepsy?). I can't remember anymore about that thread than that. So many questions.
