Back from the fireworks. Enjoying an Arturo Fuente and a Laphroaig on the patio now and I want to wish all the members from Canada and the U.S. an early happy birthday. I hope this year gives us all reasons to be proud of our young countries.

i haven't seen big fireworks in forever
nyc was the best but i'm never going to the river again (it may have been half a life ago)
i always liked that you could see it from the rooftops

No, no Jon. The order is: rompping in the hot tub, massage, silk jimmies, cigars and cocktails. To do otherwise risks soggy cigars and bunnies who smell like Orson Welles.
kenko, I am not bothered by that, but I bet migs would be apoplectic at being compared to some scruff from the colonies.

I used to be pretty proud and patriotic on the 4th, you know, in a liberal sort of way. Flag waving and patriotism this year will bother me, though. That's sad. I want my nation back.
