taz, its a video where a cop pulls one guy over, and while the cop is standing there, another truck comes and hits the cop. (At least where I am from, there was always a joking game about how many "points" a driver gets when it hits something... therein explains the title of my post).
Did you watch it? I don't understand how you could watch it and not get what its about.
It's quite amazing luck (on the points accruing scale) or sickly twisted karma (on the Fuck Me Dead!!! I'm being stomped by an SVU scale).
8.5 for execution. 6.5 for film quality.
The video quality sucks, but it seems to help a little if you've got good codecs and you full-screen it. I saw this one on some network news show or another and if I recall correctly the cop only received minor injuries - like he was somehow pushed out of the way and/or the truck flew over him or something.
Watching the woman freaking out at the end and grabbing her cellphone and pretty much just going "Holy. Fucking. Shit!" over and over was pretty classic.
I think that it should be mandatory to watch an epic, 6 hour long Faces of Death style video montage of nothing but dumbass shitty drivers crashing and losing it before any license is ever issued or renewed. Hopefully on an Imax screen with the viewer's eyelids peeled back and a bombastic soundtrack in a Clockwork Orange-ian fashion or something.
That, or maybe the "steering wheel spike". I think it was George Carlin. The basic idea is to get rid of airbags or seatbelts and mount a long, sharp metal spike on the steering wheel, so the point of it floats a few inches from your face and reminds you to drive very, very carefully.
