Don't Convert to the Jedi Faith "I suspect that Lucas realized, after writing 'Good is a point of view,' that all his friends actually believed that. So he had to make it clear that moral relativism was the right way after all—so he had Obi-Wan say that absolutism was a Sith thing, even though in the actual story, the best of the Jedis show an unbending commitment to absolute Good. It’s a terrible thing, I suppose, for a writer to invent a religion and then discover that he and all his friends are on the wrong side of it".

Quiz: The Religion of 'Star Wars'
Forget religion - did you know that episode III is FULL OF DEMOCRAT PROPAGANDA?!!

wow. what an apallingly bad article.

at basis it says "some fans off star wars are stupid and take things too far, over-interpreting what is only a film".

well, ok. 10/10 for correctness, but minus several billion for originality.

and then the article goes on to overinterpret what is only a film. yay. try reading what you wrote a few paragraphs back, dude.

it's like pointing to someone covered in shit, saying "hahaha - they stink", and then leaping into the cess pit.

FULL OF DEMOCRAT PROPAGANDA?!!

one of the few vaguely interesting points of the review quoted - although one the author didn't develop, perhaps since it would have upset the people who believe in "a real person who claimed divine revelation" (which is ok - delusions of grandeur being a better qualification for such a position than light sabers, apparently) - is that this is a propoganda piece for the republicans.

And if you REALLY read into it, you can see that both of those are nothing but a MASK for the incontrovertible fact that it's actually a propaganda piece for the JEWS.

You know, I enjoy Orson Scott Card's writing, but he should work on getting that lightsaber out of his ass.

Ha. What andrew cooke and Josh said. Next he'll be in Vogue, doing a fashion critique of Rocky Horror Picture Show fans, or in "Psychology Today" writing "Lessons learned from Harold and Maude: 6 new moves to improve your relationship".

Of course, I did take the quiz, and got 100%, despite the fact that I last saw a Star Wars movie about 15 years ago... The force is strong in this one.

Actually I thought it had been revealed that the Force wasn't some kind of omnipotent, omnipresent power but some kind of life form or some such. Mitochloridians or something?

Not that anyone should pay too much attention to Episode One.

The same is true with regular religions as well, dodgy.

Like the Baptist religion is definitely some kind of life form. ...I think we call them Floridians?
