Robbie Robertson of The Band has passed, leaving Garth Brooks as the last surviving member of one of the greatest rock bands ever. Time for a beer and a jukebox and The Last Waltz later. RIP.

I've always like The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down. I've heard that more recently it's viewed as pro-Old-South and therefore racist, but I just think it's a song about a man facing the tragedy of being on the losing side of a war in which he's lost loved ones.
