My poor honeypie (jonmc) is in the hospital. →[More:]We went to the ER on Friday, and they admitted him right away. He'd been getting a lot of swelling in his feet and legs the past week, and then shortness of breath and a fast heart rate. Turns out he was in congestive heart failure, and also has mild sepsis. It's all very scary, but the doctor's expect him to recover. He's on strong antibiotics, a diuretic, heart meds, and a blood thinner. They may have to drain fluid from his lungs.

Poor booie. We just moved down to Florida this month, staying at a lovely Airbnb on St. Pete Beach while we look for something more permanent. Hoping for a nice new chapter in our lives after a long two plus years of dealing with the pandemic in nyc.
