Most of you don't like the ghost-house this place has turned into, so maybe it's time for a bit of spring (winter) cleaning... what say you???

This is a picture of a family, accompanying their daughter as she steps out of her house, with regards to a particular festival that is celebrated here (durga puja, i think: someone feel free to correct me if i may be wrong) and she has to carry that earthen pot, the contents of which are meant as a tribute for the goddess Durga, on her head... I know, I'm shameless... it's been years since I've been living here and I still don't have the basics down yet.

Ps. notice that they all have their feet bare; I believe you're supposed to do that, to traverse the area from your house to the temple barefoot. (again, please feel free to correct me wherever required)
