2. I liked the new Ghost In The Shell movie, it's unfortunate that the script wasn't better and that it got caught in Twitter controversy over casting. I saw this concise and insightful essay by Hideo Kojima comparing the manga, anime and new movie.

I don't post much on social media, although I did start the process of pulling my (ancient) LJ account over to Dreamwidth, and am thinking about posting craft related stuff there.

I plan to post a picture of my completed wool braided rug soon, though! Just need some hand sewing, to Scotchguard it, and then the dog can use it. :) (Really, it will be protecting a bench that the dog uses to get in and out of bed.)

I work for a science magazine and we just published an article about future crab wars. I love it for the Gibson-like idea of fighting over snow crabs.
