I love gadgets in general so have a crush on quite a few of these, including my strawberry huller, my grapefruit knife, and my office stapler. But I think my personal favorite is our garlic press.

My Nicer Dicer, which I bought from a home shopping channel, years ago. I make a lot of things that start with a Mirepoix (finely chopped onions, carrots, celery, peppers, etc) and my trusty old Nicer Dicer does the job perfectly. I fully expected it to crap out on me after a couple of months but years later it's still going strong.
