Viscous liquid, sticky, drippy. All those short-i sounds, but sweet too. Personal nostalgia: school trips to cabanes, poured over snow, plus snowshoeing or sleigh rides (brisk outdoor activity so you "deserve it"?). But here it's exotic, kind of a luxury, and you're (by which I mean I'm) supposed to bring some back for people after a trip.
