Who eats breakfast? Is the morning meal a hit-or-miss thing in your household?[More:]
I try and grab something to eat during my travel time mainly because I've started taking fish oil capsules and really need something to mitigate the nasty taste of the burps.

I dearly love homemade grits or biscuits, but thankfully for my waistline, don't have time for them.

What's the scheme in other bunny dens?
We have yogurt and toast on weekdays; occasionally cereal. Kidlet eats a second breakfast at school so I just need something to tie her over for a couple hours. If you time to bake, how about making a batch of muffins? I keep saying I need to do that and never get around to it.

I have a glass of OJ at home and bring a bag of cereal mix (half Fiber One/half Craisins) to my office and eat it as soon as I sit down.

I grab a bag of Belvita breakfast cookie things and eat those, because it's easy. Otherwise, cereal at the house, but the Belvitas are travel friendly!

The niece has poptarts or a cereal bar.

Double espresso and toast, with either butter/honey, butter/jam, or Nutella. Every day.

Coffee with foamed milk, raisin bran mixed with grape nuts with milk & some kind of berries. I'm having it now (got up late).

First breakfast is always coffee, banana and a granola bar, second breakfast is always an egg and cheese sandwich. On the weekends, there is oatmeal or some other hot cereal mixed with fruit. If forced to choose, I would forgo all solid foodstuffs for coffee, sweet nectar of the gods that it is.

I have cereal at home, and then a banana and some kind of bread product at the office. And ice tea with all of it.

A bowl of cereal and coffee is my go-to. The kids eat what I find them. The eldest has a pretty standard routine for what he wants. The youngest is figuring that out (and communicating through screaming and being fussy).

Cereal, oatmeal, or boiled egg - depending on what I have!
Drink - has to be something cold for first drink - orange or cranberry juice. When it's cold, hot tea to sip on throughout the morning.

I do better if I eat breakfast. I have a 45 min. commute and have been making breakfast burritos or muffins ahead of time to warm up and take with. Otherwise, toast, maybe banana. Coffee is a requirement. On days not at work, oatmeal is comforting.

Black coffee and then some more black coffee and a peanut butter clif bar and then some more black coffee.

either a latte from Starbucks, or, if I am at home to eat breakfast, some yogurt and berries and a cup of tea.

My daughter has been eating scrambled eggs for breakfast quite often, so if she wants that, then I scramble an extra one for me.

A Fiber One protein bar and some berries with cream, plus coffee. Or scrambled eggs plus coffee.

I've been doing intermittent fasting, and find it easiest to tough it out and have all my 500 calories in the evening. So I have breakfast five days a week, or six if it's not been a successful week fasting wise...

Breakfast is usually toast with butter and jam/Marmite, and maybe leftovers from dinner. Sometimes homemade muesli with yogurt.

I have to eat some kind of breakfast otherwise I am super cranky. I usually don't eat lunch at work in favor of grazing on snacks all day, so breakfast is super important to me. This week I have 3 hardboiled eggs dipped in honey mustard dressing and them smooshed with shredded mozzarella cheese. It's so delicious.

Usually yogurt, fruit, almonds. Sometimes at home, sometimes once I get to work.

I can't eat until an hour or so after I get up. I usually have a Berocca before I leave home on my 'office' days, and then porridge and coffee when I get to the office at 7am. I used to have coffee before I left home, but I'd find I was halfway to the station and desperate for the loo. Then I'd have to use the nasty station toilets with their freezing stainless steel seats and single-sheet toilet paper dispenser. But now the station is unmanned in the mornings and so the toilets aren't unlocked until lunchtime when staff arrive, so I've cut out the coffee until I get to the office.

On my days at home I'll have the Berocca and lots of coffee, and then will usually have something to eat mid-morning. My favourite is a fried egg sandwich, but today it was muesli with yoghurt. At the weekend I'll have a leisurely pot of coffee, and will then have a late breakfast/early lunch.

Here I was imagining something delicious, senyar, not knowing what a Berocca was-- ; )

Weekdays, I'll sip on the coffee I take in my thermos during my morning classes, then, this year I have a free period around 10am, so I'll have a little something to eat at that time so I can take my bloodpressure meds, usually a yoghurt or a bagel. On the weekend, anything from a bowl of raisin bran or oatmeal to a toasted bagel or corn muffin, or if I'm feeling industrious, maybe a fried egg sandwich, and, of course, coffee.

Berocca makes your pee look like some kind of luminous nuclear by-product, but I definitely notice if I don't have it first thing.

I can't face eating food first thing but will often have a 'liquid breakfast' thing on my way to the train station. Weekends I'm basically just too lazy to eat.

I crave protein in the morning. Meat, eggs, dairy and such. Carbs make me ill. Bread, donuts, cereal, oatmeal, granola, etc. just gag me.

How'd I miss this great thread? Damn you, Mexican internet!

So, weekdays I get a flat white with soy milk from Starbucks, and a warmed blueberry scone which I carefully saw in half. (My dog gets one half later.) Weekends I usually have something like Greek yogurt with honey and coffee on Saturday, and two eggs easy over or soft boiled with toast on Sunday.

I love breakfast. Brunch is my favorite restaurant outing. But I admit I am in a bit of a rut.
