Millenials bringing their parents along on job interviews? I call bullshit. [More:]I just don't believe this. Adecco got punked.
I've literally never seen this, only heard about it from outrage-baiting sites.

Yet another way to blow a job interview! If this is real.

"a new college graduate takes a job they feel they’re overqualified for once every five minutes"

Wow, leave some jobs for the rest of the people, new college graduate. Damn, that's clumsy writing.

Miko, ha!

I suspect that some of these may be interviews coming from parental networking, where it's more of a "Let me introduce you to my child" thing.

Anecdote: two years ago, my academic library dept. was hiring students to help with book processing. One sophomore brought his mother to the interview; he introduced the interviewer to her, and she waited in the hall near the door; we could see her through the window! A few days later, he withdrew his application, stating that when he wasn't studying on campus, he needed to be at home.

I think the WSJ article link is even wackier than this article.

One of the consolations of getting older is convincing ourselves that the younger generation are doing it all wrong. It's akin to the idea that rich people may have gobs of money, but they can never find true happiness.

In short, I choose to believe this.

No, this happens. I know it for a fact. In fact, the company I work for has even instituted special training for dealing with millennials.
