Making cents with AdSense My blog made slightly more money in March than it did in the months of November, December, January, and February combined. →[More:]We're still talking about driblets of money here, but it's an encouraging sign that I may be progressing towards better days when I'll make a worthwhile amount in return for all the work I'm putting in. I'm also hopeful that in April my AdSense account will reach the payout threshold, which would result in my getting an actual cheque that can be cashed for actual money in May. Oooh!!!

So Orange Swan, do you get paid for eyeballs, or does one have to click through a sponsor link in order for you to see any bucks (Canadian)?

Looks to me like I'm getting paid on both fronts. I get paid a tiny fraction of a cent for each page view, and also get paid something between 23 and 50 cents per ad click through. I've been trying to figure out the rate of compensation for both, and have been unable, because the formulae fluctuate. The rates seem to improve with higher overall traffic and higher ad click through percentages. I've googled to try to find out how it's calculated, and apparently it's a deep dark trade secret.
