Why haven't a few HUNDRED other couples copied you? You were somewhat viral in 2009 (maybe not enough for Pindi to notice - or want to admit. Maybe the new couple got to be more viral because they fit more into preconceptions about inter-racial couples (I should not go there, but I did). But the google search you linked to in the original MeCha Post now includes an image where one blog pasted the two couples together, so you got that.

I'd always just assumed they had the same idea we had, co-evolution, you know, no big deal. It feels different now that I know it was straight-out copying, without attribution.

Wow, I looked at that and didn't think of my own marriage, which was once illegal as well. I honestly don't think of my wife in racial terms, or view her that way either. She's just the most important person in my life, and that's all that matters.
