Basically, I'm desperately looking for a home, temporary or permanent, for my friend Henry the Potbellied Pig, who was adopted by my coworker's daughter.
Henry is about one year old and, like a lot of pot-bellied pigs, he was adopted as a baby by someone who didn't realize that "PBPs" actually GROW as they grow up. Henry is about 60 - 75 lbs, and he'd be happiest with an indoor-outdoor living arrangement.
The reason it's desperate at this point is because his owners want to find a new home quickly. I'm not sure what they might be ready to do, bacon being the worst possible eventuality.
The not-so-fine print: Henry is sweet, smarter than a dog (like all pigs), and lovable, but he will be upset for the first couple of weeks in a new home, just like a human child would be. He already senses he is being "rehomed" and he's not happy about it, occasionally acting out by eating my coworkers socks or photo-albums or furniture or such. Hey, she deserves it.
