I'm pretty sure that my one cat's brain is far short of 300 million neurons.

The one cat I know (neighbor's cat Marley) only seems to have about 100 neurons and they all point to finding ways to get me to open my refrigerator.

I bought a catnip mouse from the supermarket's "half-price clearance" shelf. KitCat could NOT have been more indifferent. Does catnip "expire"?

I think it's like any dried herb -- eventually it'll lose its oomph. You could try storing it in a small container of catnip to perk it back up.
