Yeah, me too. I've seen some new faces posting, and that always makes me happy.

This site has its own special niche that none of the other social media I use can quite fulfill.

The online eqjuivalent to an old pair of favorite slippers.

I purposefully avoid joining in on 'new' social media sites (like reddit) so this place is just fine for me when it comes to life discussion. It's funny sometimes I relegate this site and its sister site to "ignore" status but I can't deny that connections I've made here and there are a significant group for me when it comes to just online stuff even if I've not met them in person

Can we possibly make the "front page" was it was a bit longer in light of the increased volume?

Again -can we please have favorites? I would so show I was here if I could just click a button to show I appreciated something. Really. It's been years. Really.

I always feel bad when I'm missing from the site for a while. But now that I have my new laptop, I can again poke around the internet comfortably.

And I agree with Firas - even if I'm not on here, I'm often thinking about you guys. :)

Structural changes to the site are, at the moment, mostly outside the realm of possibility. I used to hate the idea of "favorites," now I think it might be kind of cool, but the fact remains we are an old website running on an old platform and so that is probably not going to happen.

I'm not around here or anywhere much (though two second's thought FB posts remail) because of a huge increase in workload at work, which includes tons of travel. I'm glad to see that we're still here!
