It's the Halloween compliment to secret valentines on bunny love. We get to send anonymous messages to other mecha members. Maybe I should email chris mear. It's his site and he usually turns it on and off.

Yay, so then how long to we have, is there a malfunction time extension? It needs a proper post on it's own with a link.

Tiny explanation for some people: you can put in anybody's name as long as they are a member, but it must be properly spelled [I don't think case matters] and that doesn't mean the person will ever see it if they don't log in and check. There are tons of messages that have never been seen because their owners have never looked. I know I sent a crapload out to a lot of people for a few years that have probably never been seen, just because I felt like it, was on a roll, whatever.
Anyhoo, so some people post something in the linked post to show they are checking in, and some people take that as a sign that they are the only people playing, when really, you may find some you've missed from misspellings of your user name. It seems kind of odd that everyone isn't aware of this Halloween/Valentine tradition, because it is one of our unique fun things.
Trying to justify this bit of blather: since it's hard to know who is around any more, or checking in, or a new user, etc. etc. etc. how about dropping in a comment/sigil/character in the proper link thread so people know you are game to play? I will probably continue to send never to be seen messages to whomever, but I'm pretty sure that's just me, whether [redacted] someday logs in a decade from now to find a bevy of love letters or not...

Oh, so that's what those weird numbers are in some people's profiles. I've always wondered that.
