I thought they were kinda cute, but yanno, they are snakes afterall...

Have seen several Western Diamondback rattlers on open space trails here over the years. They're one of the laziest, least aggressive poisonous snakes known to man, and you'd pretty much have to step on one or really pester it to earn a bite.

That said, they do startle me, people's dogs get bitten occasionally, and I'm still not about to go anywhere near one, or, you know, taunt one or anything.

Are we sure that they are dancing?
