The funny thing for me is that they seem to be treating the inherent mechanical inefficiency as a feature, rather than a bug. (FWIW, the elliptigo, as weird as it is, doesn't have this feature.)

They should modify it so that it mimics the actions of cross country skiing. Then they might really have something.

You barely use your arms at all bicycling, and anything that addressed this defect in an interesting way would have a chance, I'd bet.
