I thought he'd written the Cyndi Lauper song I drove all night.
But wikipedia tells me that's not the case.
Still, a great song.

Yep, big fan here, too. I always thought it was surreal to watch that video (released in 1987) after he passed away in 1988. His appearance in the video is almost ghost-like, juxtapositioned with footage from the movie "Blue Velvet."
