What should I watch? I am sooo tired after two long days I can't even pick a netflix! Will you recommend something for me? I like subtitles, "indy", old, etc.
"The American Astronaut." Funny, weird, and often beautiful. Surrealist both in its imagery and its storytelling.

High on my list are a couple of dramas about Nazis and art: The Train and The Rape of Europa.

The Band's Visit. An Egyptian brass band travels to Israel to play at an Arab arts centre but takes the wrong bus. A tiny Israeli desert town shelters them until they can get a bus home.

I was about to suggest "L'Homme Du Train" (2002, not 2011) which I just finished enjoying, but Netflix only seems to have it on DVD. Let's see... not old, but sort of indie - Ink? Intacto? My Netflix streaming account has been on hold long enough for half of my queue to lapse into unavailability, or I might have better suggestions.

If "L'Homme Du Train" isn't available, look for other films of Patrice Leconte. E.g., "Confidences Trop Intimes".
