Anyone up for a lyrics challenge? It's been awhile since I posted one. And...look inside for my 4000th comment!→[More:]
1 - I loved you well, never mind, I've been crying all the time
2 - The sunshine bores the daylights out of me, chasing shadows moonlight mystery.
3 - But I don't, I don't know what that will be, I'll get back to you someday soon you will see
4 - I'd rather be at home with Ray, I ain't got seventy days
5 - I'm going home, see my woman, whom I love so dear, but meanwhile I gotta work right here
6 - But I can't switch off my loving, like you can't switch off the sun
7 - Feeling like a hundred bucks, exchanging good lucks, face to face.
8 - I hate graveyards and old pawn shops, for they always bring me tears

I came up with nothing this time! Although I had to cheat and look up "Chain Gang" since it was driving me nuts - I knew those lyrics but just couldn't place it. Of course once I saw what is was I was disappointed in myself.

The last one has a very specific cadence to it. I think all the kids are into Fleet Foxes aren't they? I really like the latest record, and that line is from the title track, "Helplessness Blues"
