I don't usually stick all the way through something like that, but I did and it was very interesting.

I had wondered why cats were "chosen" for LOLCat and what the lecturer said makes sense - everyone either has one (a cat) or knows someone with a cat and they're easy to anthropomorphize.

PS: Does everyone from Melbourne talk so danged fast?!
