So people in St. Louis are upset that Albert Pujols is coming to L.A./Anaheim to play for the Angels? Well, 16 years ago, the NFL's Rams, after more than 45 years in the L.A. area (15 playing in the same stadium as the Angels), moved the WHOLE BLEEPING TEAM to St. Louis. Payback is a bitch, especially in professional sports.

extraneous sidebar: I grew up in L.A. as a fan of the Rams and the Angels, who were always the 'ugly sister' of the Dodgers (I'm into underdogs), so now with Dodger Blue gone bankrupt and the 'Halos' picking up a franchise star, I might just start following baseball again next season. (I MISSED the Angels' 2002 World Series win due to my own illness.)
When I moved out of L.A. (where I had lived for more than 45 years), I wondered if the folks in SAN LUIS Obispo might have any emotional connection with the ex-L.A. team in SAINT LOUIS. Nope, no such luck.
