Every year, the Calgary Hitmen host a Bear Toss at one of their games. Fans wait until the Hitmen score their 1st goal of the night and....well, just watch.

I swear to Bob, I thought that said "beer toss." That was much more heartwarming, but maybe slightly less awesome, than I expected.

All the bears get donated to local charities! This year they collected 25k bears.

I was surprised most of the bears seemed to be white, not brown. Talk about your endangered polar bears...

I apologize to the lovely and intelligent The Pink Superhero. I was sure that it couldn't be 25,000 bears. I figured 2500. But it was indeed an astounding 25,000. Wow. Just wow.
