OMFG hairless mutant raccoon! Cute? Tragic? Terrifying? All three?
Heh. Weird and fascinating. Kind of looks like a Xolo.

I vote creepy & disturbing. Which means I'll likely see it in my dreams tonight.

Ahh, poor little guy. He has a sweet face, even with no fur.

I thought it might have mange, but TE's second link says no. Weird.

Nightmare fuel. I can't even imagine how I'd react if I ran into that thing out in the world. Regular furry raccoons are creepy enough when you're not expecting to see them. (Though I agree, they have sweet faces)

I forgot to mention:

A couple months ago Kaylee was going nuts in the backyard. I locked her in the house and went out with a flashlight. There were three raccoons in a big tree at the back of our lot. I made little kissy noises, talked softly and the two younger (I assume, because they were quite a bit smaller than the third one) actually came fairly close to me down a branch. I also assume that means that they've been fed by humans. Bad humans! Don't feed the wildlife! The bigger (mama?) raccoon chittered at them and they backed away up the branch. It was cool, the closest I've ever been to raccoons.

Reminds me of those hairless bears. Seems rather sad (uncomfortable and such). :(
