Bored? Try this It will kill a few minutes. My highest score is 2400 so far.
I have determined that I am no good at country capitals or at international politics. I am awesome at pattern recognition, vocab and multiplying three numbers.
"You [ME!] have finished all five levels of CHOKE. Final score: 11600"
First try. Got down to one life twice, got lots of time bonuses for fast answers. Wasted over 20 minutes, but some of that was spent waiting on hold.
The only categories that gave me any trouble were FindAWord, Crossword and Hangman. They had one error in a history question, setting the year for the Olympic Massacre as 1975 instead of 1976 (but the other choices were in other decades, so I got it anyway).
Fourth time through, I hit an even 13,000. I kept losing on the word searches because I couldn't figure out how they wanted me to input the answer. Finally figured that out.
Seems like you can score higher by missing one each round? Maybe.
I went back to the game and instead of a new game, it put me on level 6 with my 11,600 to add to. The one difference: you don't get an extra 'life' when you finish each level, so I only made it as far as Level 8 and 17,450.
And yes, Miko, I notice they get the part-of-speech (noun vs. adjective) wrong on some of the crossword challenges. What good is a quiz that gets the answers wrong?
I beat it the first time through, too, but I did notice my heart rate increasing with the crosswords, hangman, and word searches vs. the straight trivia.
