First line of this story gave me sniffles: Brigham and Women's Hospital Performs Double Hand Transplant:A Massachusetts man who had a double hand transplant says the first thing he wants to do is touch his grandsons’ faces and stroke their hair.

Saw a story about this on the local news tonight. They showed a photo of one of his hands -- half pink, half sickly white -- as the blood began to circulate. That and the recent face transplants and so many other amazing medical feats and lives changed make me happy to live in Boston.
