I like the concept of rolling around with roly poly seals on the beach but then I remember the elephant seal skull on display at the Año Nuevo, or more specifically, its teeth.

When I was in the Galapagos, I was told not to do that because it was dangerous. A mother would not like you cuddling with her pup and will attack.

Man, watching that seal scratch himself with his claw (which I didn't know seals had) seemed so...human.

The lack of fear and the trust shown by the seals was amazing. And the photographer's joy was really cool too. Made me sniffly.
