a couple of years ago, I was listening to This Guy's radio show and he did a really cool interview with Joan and her long time collaborator . Nardwar is not for everyone, but some of his interviews are awesome and the one with Joan was one of his best

Hearing her play "I Love Rock 'n' Roll" for the first time when I was 12 changed my life in a good way, as did seeing her among all the post-punkers in Urgh! A Music War.
