This bridge will eventually bring motorized traffic on the two top spans, and have a pedestrian/cyclist span underneath, supported on the cross brace between the two pillars. It promises to be awesome.
I should have taken a pic or two of the new tollway they're putting in, but by the time I got there, the temp was pushing 100, I had just climbed a steep hill and I just wanted to get home.
(Computerless for the day.) Me too, octothorpe; it's one of my favorite places in town. The marquee was part of a major renovation, inside and out. Many wanted to reproduce the 1940's neon that was falling apart - I would have liked that myself, but this was a pleasant surprise. Yay, indeed!
