OMG Possum! →[More:] No picture to post.... this afternoon, Winston killed a 10-pound possum that was apparently living under our shed. He was very happy and proud of himself.

Dead as in dead or dead as in playing opossum?

Opossums are rat like snarling ugly creatures. I can't figure out what niche they fill other than entertainment for dogs and very brave cats.

Oh come now, mightshould. There are some very cute opossums. In terms of their usefulness, they are 1) scavengers, always an important niche to fill 2) delicious and 3) a good source for warm fur.
