It can't be worse than the Tim Burton flick. Ten years later and I'm still pissed at spending my money and time watching that useless movie.

Ooh... This was the one preview I missed while I was in the bathroom last time I was at the movies, and my boyfriend said it was a good one.

Actually watched the trailer just now, looks like every other damn movie. At least it's not in 3D.

I am a Planet of the Apes fan times 100. As a kid they had a Planet of the Apes marathon at a local theater. All of them, one after another. A friend and I were first in line and sat through the whole thing. I would truly love a proper remake.

My favorite was "Beneath The Planet Of The Apes", Of all the Ape movies, this is the one I think Burton should have done. He was totally wrong for the first one, and I doubt he would have handled the revolution well. "Beneath..." could have used his reboot style, although the bulk of it could stand as is. The ending even features Charlton Heston getting all liberal on everybody's ass.

The mutants remove their flesh masks is something I'd like to see Burton do.
