Does anyone else watch "My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding"? →[More:]May I just say that I tuned in for the dresses and over-the-topness, but I find myself saddened by the lack of any future hopes for these girls? To not feel that there's any more in life...such a distressing attitude! Your thoughts?

It is rather bleak. It does not seem long after the marriage before the girls seem rather lost and lonely.

I have not seen the show and I'm not that familiar with the culture. I saw a preview for the show while watching a Dateline episode on TLC last night. It got my attention because the wedding and the dresses seem crazy over-the-top in a good way.
