Looks like a Barracuda parked there.

Yep, I think you're right.

I love how bright and defined the gas station is, versus how ghostly the water tower behind it is.

Another great pic by the same photographer, the same year.

Nice impact. The 'cuda makes it perfect.

What a great photo.

Good to know that even then, NJ was a soulless waste of paved surfaces.

I was born in 1975 and lived in Cherry Hill until I was 3, then in neighboring Marlton for the rest of my childhood. I know that water tower well.

Ouch. Good thing that's not true.

Great photo... but a bit pricey, no?

Wow. Absolutely gorgeous. Realy...that's all I have time to say right now - spent more time on those photos than I realized - gotta get to work!

Fabulous.

This must be the place. Cherry Hill is sort of near my beloved summer camp, and I probably drove by this a lot on my way out there.

Holy shit. I also grew up in Cherry Hill and passed by this gas station and water tower almost every day while growing up. My school bus drove by it while I was attending Heritage Junior High around the corner and Cherry Hill East, a few miles down the road.

I always wondered what the hell kind of factory was across the street. I heard it made pie plates.

Both of those photos are fantastic.

I can't believe we have SEVERAL people here who recognized the place on sight! That's too funny. Small world.

Nice.
Remember when gas stations were actual service stations? I wonder how many people alive today have never known a gas station to be more than a few pumps and a convenience-mart-cum-food-court?

I lived in Cherry Hill at one point in my life as well, but oddly, no, I don't recognize the place.

But Christ almighty!!! If he can charge priced like that, for washed-out muddy prints, Why can't I get anyone to pay for my stuff?
