The mister's brother has a labradoodle, super sweet and loving but not very bright.

Yea, I used to live next door to a pair of blond Doodles. They could run into a wall and try to keep going. But they had the most amazing soft coat and, yea, they where sweet as all get out.

I have a winter golden doodle - a golden retreiver instead of a labrador retriever and he's a prince. Well, in fact, I call him The Duke (even though his actual name is Piper)

He's only recently headed south for the summer...

There are all kinds of "designer" breeds around these days. Yorkie-poos, Puggles, Chi-Weenies, etc. Flip through the Dogs for Sale in the classifieds and it'll blow your mind.

I've added some pictures of my dog to a Bordador group on Flickr, but I've never seen anyone advertising them or breeding them on purpose. All of the (handful) of folks that post there have rescues. Probably a good thing, too, since adding the limitless exuberance of a Lab to the neverending stamina of a Border Collie on purpose is probably not a great idea.

I overheard someone last weekend talking about a chug - part chihuahua and part pug.

I dread the day when they start breeding schipperkes with mastiffs, though I can't wait to hear someone refer to their masterkey puppy.
