That's not the exact recipe that I use, but it is close enough. One thing you can't skimp on is good olive oil and the fresh mozzarella.
Making black lentil dal in the slow cooker. And need to leave now and get cracking on that, now that my dear husband has returned with my fresh ginger root. Lemme know if anyone wants the recipe.
I'm making pulled pork in the crock pot for sandwiches. I usually cover the pork shoulder in root beer to cook it, but the Mister had cherry cola open so I used that instead. I cannot wait to see if it flavors the pork differently. I vote no.
How did it turn out, toastedbeagle? It looks amazing. I think I'll surprise my husband with that this week. Open face with some kind of melty cheese....yum.
This is amazing. Ah-MAZE-ing. We have a new fav. I made curried potato salad to go with it and it was the perfect foil; sweet and creamy and cold to contrast with the hot spicy heat of the sandwich. We served it open face and my son just picked it up and ate it like pizza. Next time we're doing it on rolls.
