Did you know that MeCha bunny elizarde has, in the past, made FEZes for cats that she knows and likes? Well, she has, and let me tell you, the cats love her for it. I mean really, they want to locate her, wherever they may be on the globe, and just HUG HER because they love her so much for making the awesome fez(es) that their owners keep perching on their heads and taking photos of them with.
For example! Here's my own cat Bob, looking very smart in his fez: ≡ Click to see image ≡
George's old farm cat, Smokey, who was a feisty little barn cat. George said "she won't come to anyone". She came to me and would follow me around, meowing. He said "she won't let anyone stroke her". She immediately let me stroke her. He said "no-one can pick her up". See for yourself. She loved me and would spend hours sitting on my lap on the porch. She was very, very old, and a tiny cat, she had the littlest paws I've ever seen on a cat. One day, just before I was due to visit, she disappeared into the woods and never came back. She was at least 21 years old.
My cat Henry1 a.k.a Lord Launch Lunch needs to hang with me all the time. He's in my lap right now, but if he can't find a spot on my legs.... ≡ Click to see image ≡
Thin is generally bad-tempered, fast as lightning, prefers to spend most of his time outside, and is the terror of all the neighbourhood cats despite being about half their size. Fat is slow, falls out of trees, can't land on his feet and very, very occasionally catches mice, more by luck than anything else, and then licks them all over until someone finds and releases them (soaking wet and unharmed). They used to fight a lot, but they've mellowed as they've got older.
Our darling soft furred Calliope, who died from a sudden onset of kidney disease (and possibly a tumor) at the end of December. She was a totally round kitty, hence the name. ≡ Click to see image ≡ ≡ Click to see image ≡
Also our unbelievably stupid and neurotic but rather handsome female cat Mellow (whom we did NOT name): ≡ Click to see image ≡
A (background) was passed out on the floor post-long-mountainbike ride, and Billy was wearing that adorable little t-shirt as a surprisingly effective way to keep him from obsessively scratching at a hotspot on his shoulder.
