Frictionless wheels in Grand Theft Auto 4 means hilarious car-flying action.
Saw this earlier but watched it again. I don't know why it makes me laugh as much as it does.

I know! Same here. I cackle like a maniac every time I see it.

That's both hilarious and amazing. I don't play computer games much. Do they all have an 'insane mode' like that?

No, DarkForest- this was done by hacking one of the game's settings files with a text editor.

So Video Game Physics can exceed Looney Tunes Physics with a little hacking. Good to know.

Wow, that's even more amazing. I was imagining some game programmer working hard to get those scenes to work the way they did.

Interesting that the hacked file applied only to cars. We see him riding a motorcycle, so there must at least be a "CarPhysics" and separate "MotorcyclePhysics" parameters. I thought there would be one set of rules describing motion for all vehicles. Any programmers have an insight on this?

heh. That was like the trailer for the best disaster film ever.

One thing that cracks me up is that the drivers are still honking at people in their way, even as they sail spinning through the air.
