Heh, deborah. One of the benefits of working at a clinic is that it's really easy for me to take her in on Sundays (when we're closed, but I have to go into work anyhow) and bathe her up there. They have one of those nice, high-sided professional baths with the flexible hose, so it just makes things a ton easier. The only problem is after, when I put her in the dryer (which nobody likes anyhow), and she has to sit there and watch me run the other dogs that are boarding. And oh, the pathetic jealousy that ensues and makes me feel ever-so-guilty.

She got her cookie when we came home.

We have to bathe Kaylee (Sheltie/Eskimo) in the tub and it is rather back breaking. Thank goodness it doesn't happen very often (she's rather fastidious plus a couple of our cats like to groom her). Anyway, Kaylee also gets a treat after a bath. Yay for treats!
