I hope they suspend parking for tomorrow, I don't feel like finding a new spot for bf's car.
Feeling similarly crappy, amro. I hope you feel better.
It would be pretty if it wasn't so annoying.
I escaped to Pennsylvania just in time. Was in Morristown/Madison, NJ for the weekend but left in a hurry at noon today just barely ahead of the storm. Saw about six accidents on Rt 80 between 287 and Delaware but once I got over the river, it cleared up and had no problems.
Aw, amro and rmless2. I send you many hugs.
We're actually hoping to come into NYC one day this week and trying to figure out the best way to do it. Amtrak from Philly is pretty expensive, so we're thinking of either driving to Weehawken and taking the ferry into the city or driving to Princeton and taking the train from there. Any opinions, NYCers? Advice?
jrossi, I'd drive to Princeton and take the train. Or take the septa to Trenton and the NJ Transit to NYC. But that takes a while, maybe not the best with 2 kiddos.
We are supposed to be driving to Baltimore in the morning. We were scheduled to pick up the car at 7am, but that's not gonna happen. Pushed it back to noon, hopefully roads/traffic will be OK by then. NYC copes well with snow.
You probably know this, but take the train from Princeton Junction, not Princeton. And Hamilton may be a better station to leave from, because it has more parking.
I'm in Columbus, doesn't look as if I'll be getting to NYC today. I'm lucky, I'm with friends. I'm on hold right now to American Airlines, holding 26 minutes and counting. I feel sorry for anyone working in an airline call centre today.
Thanks, jrossi4r.
I've done the septa/njt thing many times and it is easy, just make sure that you are going on one of the routes that the connection is waiting for you in Trenton so you don't have to sit around in that station.
