The first few, the kids look like they were forcibly removed from their beds and wanted to sleep some more. The later ones were way too self-conscious of the taping.
Yeah, but you can identify with it. Self-consciousness is a life stage. I love the way the kids are clearly eye-rollably irritated during their early teens, then re-embrace it in their mid and late teens with extra silly, zany energy, then calm down again and just start participating more earnestly with little of the awkwardness of the early years. I have no doubt but that they'll keep it up and add in their own kids when and if that happens...
