One good thing about living where I do...lots of winter shots! This is a younger Sophie sitting on a warm rad in front of a snowy window - I've always loved the feel of this photo:

Taken about five minutes ago. Fresh snow. Thank god I don't have to drive in this. Yesterday's commute was hell. Apparently, Iwate practices the Seattle method of snow removal: Leave it on the ground and hope for the best.
