Snug as a Bug in a Rug - A tiny house in Japan built on a lot the size of a parking spot.
I remember a singular car having been parked in the space of this house in my hometown.
Plus: that house has a medieval vaulted cellar that opens up on the canal beneath (a so called werfkelder).
I wanted to point out that snug means good looking in swedish. And quasi off handedly point out that it was a swedish speaking finnish girl who taught me that.
But a quick google shows that that's spelled snygg.
So much for crypto-bragging.
mrmoonpie - I remember you showing a few pictures of your home. I find tiny homes fascinating; spent way too much time online last night looking at them through the Tiny House Blog.
jouke, I found it a nifty coincidence that my post title is next to the VW photo by gomichild.
I just purchased a house not much bigger than this... it's on a lot not much bigger than the house, was originally a one bedroom cottage... torn down and rebuilt on the same foundation. it's a neat house, we're in the process of getting it ready to move in.. lots of challenges to find out how to use the space....
