I can't believe I almost missed the 10th Birthday/Anniversary of Everlasting Blort, the blog/internet home of both quonsar and madamjujujive (also started the same day, their [and my] online friend The Presurfer). Ten years on the Web is awesome (and I should know; I've had barely 5 active years in the 11 years since I started). HAPPY WEBIRTHDAY!!!

Quonsar is still around? Whatever happened to that guy? Did he ultimately get permabanned from MeFi?

Hard to say. Quonsar also self-banned himself at points.

First of all, it's quonsar, not Quonsar. Also, there were so many bannings, time-outs and self- imposed bans of various types that the actual truth is well and truly lost in the mists of time.

Some say you can hear the click of his keyboard in the dead of night when the wind is from the East. Some say his heart was replaced in 1999 with a Pentium CPU. All I know is that he's out there somewhere and may return when we least expect it.
