I really want to eat at this place. If I'm ever in Pratt, Kansas, that is.
Lookit the doggie in that picture!

More.

The dog totally makes the picture. I'll have the meatloaf.

Looks like a great place to announce "Hello! We're from the internet!"

So, ... you mean to tell me that not all road side diners look like that in the US? :-(
Mad Men has been telling me lies!

I love me some Americana, and that is cool.

Wow. It's a -teria AND a Smorgasbord.

My late grandpa would have set up a cot in that place if he'd only known about it.

Yeah, but what if you want breakfast at 6.05 am?

This is insane. -T and I were in Pratt and ate there a couple of weeks ago, mostly because we loved the sign so much (and because there's basically nowhere else to eat).

The sign is even better at night; they close after lunch but I like to think they leave the sign on just because it's so sweet.

(The food was just 80s issue cafeteria glop, as expected - no nostalgia value, even. Boo.)
