I was going to ask you all for baby shower game ideas for this Saturday's SHOWER OF BABIES, but mygothlaundry already AskedMetafilter a year ago, and I like many of these ideas.
Definitely going to do the survey idea, and I'd be tempted to do the baby gift bingo, if I knew how to make bingo cards (you know, so there's more than 1 card variation).

Baby gift bingo was a big hit at a shower I hosted. Not too cutesy or gross, and it keeps everyone interested in the gift opening.

I had never heard of it, but I think it's a smashing idea!

I did baby gift bingo at my sister-in-law's shower (she had 30 guests). It's great because it gives people something to do and keeps attention focused while the gifts are being opened. Otherwise that time can drag a bit. Also, some people feel uncomfortable with the attention that comes with cutesy games and the low-key bingo takes the pressure off.

I printed up the lists on colored paper that was a bit heavier than regular printer paper, and used dot stickers as the bingo markers. I had three prizes on hand, and it turned out perfectly; my SIL only had a few gifts left by the time the prizes were distributed.

Very nice! I was thinking of buying a few packs of dollar store crayons for marking off items. I made up the item list myself, hope I picked things she'll actually get.
