Hi weretable!

This is why I hate thunderstorms. When people tell me how relaxing they are, I remind them that it seemed like thunderstorms usually liked to happen right over my house.

I hates them so.

Yup, nothing like it. There's a slight variation where you're deeply into your REM cycle and there's a sudden single thunderclap right over the house. Waking up when you're two feet above the mattress because the noise has caused your muscles to shoot you directly UP!!! is equaled only by the landing and figuring out that the rumbling noise tailing off over the sleepy and incoherent swearing was all that was left of the thunder in question.

And then you lie there waiting for the rest of it, but God's other boot never falls and you end up having a shit nights sleep. Yay weather!

normally I'm a very light sleeper, but for some reason, if there is a hurricane or a major windstorm happening, i have the best sleeps of my life

Ha! I remember those from Texas. Crazy ass t-storms in Texas. BC seems to have most of its during daylight hours.

Lots of rain here in Seattle, not many thunderstorms. I love the sound of falling rain when I am drifting off to sleep.

I actually LOVE sleeping during thunderstorms. Feels like we'll get one here soon. Hope so.

I thought you were going to say a bowl of cereal.
