Some raisins and a glass of milk will usually help me when I've got cramps.

I am SO with you there.

Potassium salt instead of regular salt is another alternative. It has a slightly different taste by itself, but when used on food, I cannot tell the difference.

That Vita-Coco stuff that's popping up everywhere (at least in NYC especially in bodegas) has a great serving of potassium minerals in it. No HFCS. The pomergranite-Acai Vita-coca is my favorite but YMMV.

Also, best thirst quencher rehydration I've ever had.

Gatorade is such crap.

I get killer cramps in my calf and toes. Drinking dill pickle juice works really quickly. Doesnt taste so good at 3am but when it hurts that bad, I will drink anything to make it stop.

Does a little warm water help? I ask because the MrsMoonPie suffered from morning stomach cramps for years before being diagnosed with an ulcer. After a course of antibiotics, she was all better, permanently.
